Discover Your True Voice — Empowered, Expressive, and Aligned.
Welcome. I’m Julia, a voice teacher and professional singer based in Berlin, originally from Canada. I work with students of all ages who are musically curious, motivated, and ready to develop their voice in a focused and supportive environment.
Whether you're at the beginning of your vocal journey or returning to singing with renewed intention, this is a space for deep, structured learning rooted in healthy technique and mindful practice.
What we focus on in lessons:

Voice and Piano Lessons for Young Artists and Thoughtful Singers of All Ages
Whether you're a dedicated young singer just beginning your journey, a parent looking to support your child’s musical growth, or an adult student returning to your voice with renewed focus, these lessons are designed to offer more than just instruction—they offer a space for meaningful, mindful development.
My teaching supports students who are curious, motivated, and ready to go deeper—regardless of age. I work with kids, teens, and adults who want to build a strong vocal foundation, develop healthy technique, and explore music with both discipline and joy.
Lessons are available online across Europe and North America, with in-person sessions offered in Berlin and Toronto when possible.
My approach is grounded in classical vocal technique and shaped by professional training at top U.S. conservatories, a performing career in Europe, and my ongoing learning about trauma-informed teaching and mindfulness. This means lessons are paced with care, adapted to the student’s individual needs, and held in a space that values both excellence and emotional safety.
Online lessons take place via Forte, a platform designed for music education. Each student also receives access to:
- Recorded vocal warm-ups tailored to their level
- A guided meditation to support presence and focus before singing
- A shared document for practice support and feedback
- An optional practice planner tailored to their age and goals
For families and adult learners seeking high-level, holistic voice training rooted in both professionalism and care—this is a space where your voice is taken seriously and supported fully.
What my students say
“Julia has been an irreplaceable part of my son’s musical development for the last three years; not only as an operatic vocalist, but also as a performer in general. Julia continues to guide him to ever higher levels of craft while counseling him through the changes that come with becoming a teenager. She has deftly shifted between coach, cheerleader, sage, and friend. She is the rare combination of superlative performer and teacher of equal merit.”
Ted R.
“Julia is an excellent teacher! She explains everything with great detail and adapts every lesson to fit your needs. I’ve had so much fun, and I’ve made great progress on my technique with the help of Julia! She also taught me how to take care of my voice in other ways and helped me improve my performance. Her positive energy and kindness really helped me build my confidence. I highly recommend her!”
“Julia is the most supportive music teacher I have ever had. I came to her with extreme vocal fatigue and was unable to sing properly, and was so scared about whether or not I had 'lost' the best years of my voice due to overuse and strain. Within the few months I have been in session with her, Julia has not only got me singing better than ever before but even helped me to unlock parts of my register I didn't know were there! I love our lessons so much - Julia is kind, supportive and one of the best listeners ever. Book her for a lesson!”
“Julia is a great singing teacher! She is super supportive and always finds ways to help when certain aspects of what we are doing are challenging. I enjoy learning from her very much.”
“I have had Julia now for 3 years as my teacher, once a week and she is an absolutely precious teacher. Since I'm with her my voice has become much clearer and improved enormously. She even helped me go through my voice changing challenge, as I'm 14 years old. I can still sing high notes, thanks to her incredible help and professional lessons, She helped me get only better and even combined music (my guitar) with my voice. I enjoy and love every single class with her. I thank her so much for everything she has done for me.”
